Isle of Arran
A week in Little Scotland with Nordic Vision, Photo-travel.
The Isle of Arran (Scottish Gaelic: Eilean Arann) or simply Arran is an island off the west coast of Scotland. It is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde. It is called Scotland in miniature. Arran owes this name to the dichotomy of nature similar to the Scottish Highlands and Lowlands. In the north of Arran you will find high mountain peaks and rugged nature while the south is characterised by rolling, green hills and picturesque valleys.
