Pferdeschlittenrennen

Winter 2017 in Bavaria. Horseriding is a popular sport in the rural part of the region Oberbayern (Elbach – Fischbachau and Parsberg). Sledges are pulled by different horse breeds and even skiing pulled by a horse is possible. This is called Skijöring, derived from the Norwegian word skijøring, which means ski driving. Lot’s of fun on a cold and sunny Sunday!
