Lake Baikal in Winter

Just returned from a great Photo-trip discovering the ice of Lake Baikal, Russia. Well organised by Charles Borsboom, Nordic Vision (The Netherlands). Here a view from above!

Lake Baikal in Siberia is oldest, deepest and most voluminous lake of liquid freshwater on planet Earth. From mid January until the end of March it is completely frozen over.
