ISU World Cup event in Inzell

This weekend ice-speedskaters from all over the world came to Inzell, Bayern (Germany) for an ISU World Cup event.
Inzell (Bayern) is wel knowing for it’s speed skating rink. Since its opening, as an outdoor
venue, towards the end of 1965, more than 80 world records in speed skating have been broken here. It was known as the fastest European speed skating rink, second in the world after the Medeo rink.In 2011 it is an indoor venue called the Max Aicher Arena. In the entrance pictures from Dutch champions like Ard Schenk, Kees Verkerk and Atje Keulen-Deelstra can still be found.
