‘Góðan dag’ Faroe Islands

Posted on on mei 11, 2018

Something beautiful. Something clean. Something dramatic. Something serene.

Tucked between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean (and politically part of Denmark), this self-governed group consists of 18 volcanic islands. The Islands have a population of nearly 50,000, and a language and culture of their own. The Faroe Islands are undeniably beautiful: green, rugged and wind-swept.

All good reasons to visit the islands during a photo-week with photographers Jan and Mart Smit (Nordic Vision).
